Two friends.
One big idea.
Breaz started with two friends who simply wanted something better. We were always taking cheap paper or plastic fans with us to festivals. Sometimes we remembered them, sometimes we forgot them and ended up buying another one at the festival. The problem was that they rarely lasted and before you knew it, the fan was broken, bent or simply no longer useful.
For us there was another problem too. Living in the south while many of the festivals we visited were around Amsterdam and Rotterdam meant a long journey home. Having enough battery for the entire day was important, but carrying a separate powerbank was not exactly what we had in mind either. So we started thinking differently. What if one compact product could simply do both? That question became the beginning of Breaz.

We did not start Breaz because we wanted to create another gadget. We started because we knew exactly what was missing. We wanted a fan that was compact enough to take anywhere, powerful enough to actually make a difference and reliable enough to get you through an entire day. And because your phone is just as important when you are away from home, we wanted it to give you extra power too. The idea was simple: make one product that we would genuinely want to take with us.
From the beginning, our focus was on finding the right balance between quality, functionality, size and price. Nothing unnecessary. Nothing complicated. Just a really good product that makes sense when you use it. That became the foundation of the first Breaz product.

How Breaz
got its start
From one idea to something bigger
What started with a fan quickly became about much more than the product itself. While building Breaz, we realised that the moments we were building it for were just as important as the product. A festival with your friends, a summer evening outside, a road trip or a weekend away. Those are the moments where you want something that simply works and lets you enjoy the moment without thinking about it. And that changed the way we started looking at Breaz.
We do not want to build a brand that people only think about when they need a fan. We want Breaz to become part of the experiences people look forward to every summer. That means new products, new ideas, new collaborations and eventually a community that feels like it is part of the journey from the beginning.

We want the people who buy Breaz to feel like they got more than a product. We are building Breaz around the things we genuinely love ourselves. Summer, music, festivals, travelling, being outside and spending time with good people. And as the brand grows, we want to bring those things closer to our community. We are working towards collaborations with festivals and other brands that allow us to create experiences for Breaz customers that you cannot simply buy in a webshop.
Think VIP weekends, free festival tickets, exclusive events and special access. Experiences with friends that become stories you remember long after the summer is over. Because if we are going to build a community, we want people to actually benefit from being part of it. The product is where Breaz starts. The community is where it can go.
